Island-wide residential properties are available for Long-Term Lease, i.e., one year or longer. All long-term rentals require the following:
- A signed lease usually for one year or longer.
- Security Deposit equivalent to one month's rent is usually required. First and last month's rent is also required on signing of lease.
- Tenant pays the utilities of electricity, water, telephone and internet. Garden and pool maintenance is also paid by tenant, however, on occasion may be included in the rental rate.
- Utility bills are usually transferred into the name of the tenant for the duration of tenancy and transferred back into the name of the Landlord at the end of tenancy. Telephone and Electricity companies require a deposit from non-nationals on transfer of service.
